So there I was, standing on the sandy shores of Lake Erie near Cedar Point (Six Flags), trying to capture the picturesque serenity of the beach with live iPhone photos….when a smug seagull strutted into my shot like it owned the place. Naturally, I took a Live Photo. Because if you’re going to accidentally photograph a bird that looks like it wants royalties, you may as well get a few seconds of sass in motion.

One Tip at a Time Tip 12 – Experiment with Panoramas (iPhone)

How do you experiment with Panoramas? As I’m trying to get back into creative photography, I am having a hard time moving forward. My brain has a hard time coming up with ideas of what to do and I end up watching true crime instead. But…now that we have nicer weather (and I need more exercise) I am hoping to spend at least a few hours a week on photography fun.

This time? I chose to go to Hudson Mills MetroPark and roll with what ever came up in my brain. One of those ideas was Panoramas.

As i was driving home from my MILs house after spending time with family, I was in awe of the way the moon appeared over the fields on the side of the road. It was dark and I was hesitant as to whether I should pull over to take a pic or not. But the more beauty I saw, the more I knew I had to. But how do you get good moon pics with your iphone?

One Tip at a Time Tip 3 – Change Your Viewpoint or Angle

Do you ever struggle with how to make your photo more unique? Regardless of your subject, changing the viewpoint or angle of your shot can make a huge difference in the final image.

Most people tend to keep their camera pointing straight toward their subject. One of my favorite things to do is to try multiple angles until I get something that I love. Sometimes my fav will be the straight forward original, but more often than not I will prefer one of the unique viewpoints or angles.
