- Swallow Falls State Park (waterfalls)
- Antietam National Battlefield, Antietam Creek near Sharpsburg (Haunted)
- Assateague Island (if you visit in July you have a chance to see the “saltwater cowboys” lead feral horses across the Assateague Channel
