Because I tend to hibernate a bit in the winter months, I tried to use my alone time to make plans for the rest of the year…..but before I knew it is almost June. WTF. I did come up with two things to prioritize though, so progress is progress? My goals? To travel more, and get back into creative photography. Two things I can do at the same time!

TRIP TO KENTUCKY TO VISIT EXTENDED FAMILY AND PLACES WITH FAMILY HISTORY
When a second cousin reaches out to you on social media and you have great memories of the place she lives even though you’ve never met her in person…how can you not schedule a trip?? And my cuz is interested in Photography, so win win! Hoping to see family memory places, nature and have photography fun.
BLOGGYCON 2025
Bloggycon is one of my favorite things to do every year. Not only do I get to connect with other bloggers and learn new things but….I get to spend fun time at Cedar Point’s Halloweekends with my family. Bloggycon is usually the second weekend of September (for 2025 it will be Friday 9/15 – Sunday 9/21). ESCAPE ROOMS or LOCAL SCAVENGER HUNTS
Not gonna lie – so far no escape room or scavenger hunt that I’ve been on recently has topped the one we did in Tennessee in 2017 (I so want to go back!!)) But I do love them regardless- especially if I’m able to do them with family and friends. For Scavenger hunts and outdoor escapes, check out Escapely. They are available in multiple city’s in multiple countries. I haven’t done one yet but I have ordered the Detroit one and I will keep you posted!
TRAVEL
In addition to Bloggycon, I hope to do more travel. Some things I’m still pondering – like car camping in places with Wi-Fi so I can work while on the road without taking vacation days.
I do have one trip planned (outside of Bloggycon), that is with PlotTwist Adventures (I’m an adventure affiliate). I’m not moving forward as fast as I hoped this year, but I am making progress – and that’s all that matters, right? I am pondering a few more things and will keep you posted.
