Surviving (and Thriving) on a Plot Twist Women’s Only Trip in Colorado

Do you want to test your resilience, reconnect with your wild side, and find out just how close you can get to freezing your ass off without actually dying? I would highly recommend a Plot Twist women’s only adventure trip in Colorado.

Picture this: Mountains, blue Colorado sky, snow rolling off the peaks, pine trees whispering ancient gossip, and a group of badass women ready to hike, laugh, cry, heal, and occasionally make choices that are….somethin.

Solo AF in Northern MI: Bears, Hillbillies and the Tunnel of Trees

Let me tell you about my most recent solo adventure – a chaotic little loop through Northern MI and the UP that made me question my life choices in all the best ways. It involved goats, scrape metal, bears and just enough solo reflection to remember I’m a badass with a soft spot for my whippet Maizie, who I missed the entire time.

Let’s start from the top. I rolled into what I can only describe as the hillbilly part of Michigan. Which I say with love because hi, I’m a hillbilly-country-city-ghetto hybrid girl.

What I Learned on My First Car Camping Trip

I recently went on my first solo car camping trip. Just me, a car full of chaos, my trusty travel buddy (a stuffed donkey sasshole obviously), and the wide open road. I had ideas about what this trip would be like—peaceful, empowering, maybe a little Instagram-worthy (I failed).

And while there were peaceful and empowering moments, there were also a lot of “WTF am I doing?” moments. So here’s the honest recap. What I learned, what I liked and hated, and how I’m adjusting for next time.

F*ck It, I Went Alone: A Solo Trip to Find My True Self (with Alpacas, Dinosaurs & Nature)

Sometimes you hit a wall. Life, with all its chaos and expectations, just feels like a never-ending loop of “WTF am I even doing?” That is me these days. Burnt out, stretched thin, and craving some kind of sign from the universe and trying to find my true self.

So, I said “f*ck it” and packed my bags. Just me, a few too many snacks, and a vague plan to drive until I felt something again. Spoiler alert: I found a hell of a lot more than I expected.
